Modern Slavery Statement 2022

At BuddahCBD.com, we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chain.

Our Business

BuddahCBD.com is an online retailer of CBD products. Our products are sold to consumers via our website and through a limited number of third-party retailers.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors of CBD products. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that they share our values and commitment to ethical business practices, and we conduct due diligence on our suppliers to ensure that they meet our standards.

Our Policies

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we have implemented policies and procedures to prevent it from occurring in any part of our business or supply chain. Our policies include:

A Code of Conduct for all employees, which sets out our commitment to ethical business practices and our expectations of our employees in this regard.
A Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out our expectations of our suppliers in relation to ethical business practices.
A Whistleblowing Policy, which enables our employees to report any concerns about modern slavery or other unethical business practices in confidence.
Our Due Diligence

We conduct due diligence on all new suppliers before entering into any business relationship with them. Our due diligence process includes a review of the supplier’s policies and procedures relating to ethical business practices, as well as a review of any relevant public records.

We also conduct regular risk assessments of our supply chain to identify any areas where the risk of modern slavery is highest. Where we identify a high risk, we take appropriate steps to mitigate that risk.

Training and Awareness

We provide training to all of our employees to ensure that they understand our policies and procedures relating to modern slavery, and we raise awareness of modern slavery among our suppliers and customers.

We will continue to review our policies and procedures to ensure that they remain effective in preventing modern slavery in our business and supply chain, and we will provide updates on our progress in our annual Modern Slavery Statement.
